Principals

 
  • Logan is the managing partner at AGT and also specializes in small business income tax and consulting. After attending College of the Siskiyous, University of San Diego, and California State University Chico, Logan began her accounting career at a firm in Redding. She eventually returned to her Siskiyou County roots and joined AGT in 2011.

    Logan lives in Mount Shasta with her daughter. She keeps herself busy traveling just about anywhere, being an enthusiastic spectator of the performing arts, and cheering for the San Francisco Giants. She particularly loves summer in Mt. Shasta, highlighted by many paddle boarding trips to the lake and a weekend rafting trip with her sister down the Klamath River with Shasta Disabled Sports. Logan is a Rotarian and enjoys the opportunity to assist with projects such as Goodbye Thirsty, a rainwater harvesting project in Tanzania. She is also the Treasurer and a founding member of Jefferson State Roller Derby.

    Favorite part of the job: While she is a a true accounting nerd who loves spreadsheets and data analytics, what she really loves most about her job is helping her clients and coworkers succeed. Seeing the “aha” moments when staff master new concepts, or feeling her client’s relief at having solved a business dilemma are what keep her coming to work each day. That, and her awesome colleagues of course!

  • Tessa joined AGT in August of 2007. She received a B.A. in Political Science from Arizona State University in 2005. She received her Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting from Southern Oregon University in 2011. In 2020, Tessa developed and headed the Advisory Services portion of the firm that serves as a CFO and controller to our larger business clients. Tessa specializes in business relations and personal connections relating to Advisory Services, business development, and financial planning.

    Tessa is a Mt. Shasta native. She moved back to the area in 2005 after living in Arizona for a number of years and welcomed her son, Liam in 2010. She and her husband Cody welcomed Davis in 2017 and Camden in 2020. Tessa enjoys spending time with family, running, and being very involved in the community.

    Tessa is a City Council Member for the City of Mt. Shasta, the past president for the Mt. Shasta Chamber of Commerce, a past member of the Mt. Shasta Community Economic Development Activities Committee and the Co-Founder of the Siskiyou Young Professionals group. She was also the 2014 local climber for the Climb Against the Odds.

    When she isn’t working she enjoys adventuring with her husband, Cody, and their 3 boys. She is an avid reader and loves outdoor exercise like running and hiking with her yellow lab, Arlo.

    Fun facts about Tessa: She is the youngest elected person to serve on the Mt. Shasta City Council. She climbed Mt. Shasta in 2014 as the local climber for the Breast Cancer Fund and she loves all Housewives franchises (except Dallas.) She also has over 100 succulents at home!

  • Rob has served the Redding community for over 22 years. He specializes in both tax and auditing. For tax, Rob works with local businesses and individuals in tax planning and preparation. In auditing, Rob works primarily with local governments and non-profits.

    Rob received his B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from California State University Sacramento where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. After graduation, Rob passed the CPA exam and joined the firm of Essary, Dal Porto, and Lowe in Sacramento. It didn’t take long for Rob and his wife to look elsewhere to raise their new family and they both decided that the North State would be a better place to live. Rob then moved to Redding and joined the firm of Nystrom and Company. He developed in his career at Nystrom and eventually made partner in 2006. Rob remained in the firm through two different mergers but in 2016 decided to leave the firm to get back to his small firm roots and joined AGT.

    As a long-term member of the Redding community, Rob has been involved in many different non-profit organizations. Rob enjoys giving back to the community he lives and works in. Rob is currently the Financial Secretary of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, a past board member for both the Good News Rescue Mission and Camp McCumber. He is also a past member of the Exchange Club of Redding and the Redding Kiwanis!

    Rob and his wife Heather have raised three children one of whom hopes to follow in his footsteps and join the ranks of CPA’s in the near future.

    When he isn’t serving his community he is camping with family and friends and hunting in the fall. Rob also really loves to travel via road trips and cruising, including annual trips to Disneyland. He purchased a Tesla and started a YouTube Channel (Middle Aged Tesla) to document his experiences owning an EV and to find an outlet for his creative energy.

    Fun facts about Rob: He is a father of three and a grandfather as well. He loves spending time with his family and grandkids and is a huge Disney Fan- he has been to Disneyland or Disney World more times than he can remember!

  • Kristel was born in Fall River Mills, CA, and spent her childhood growing up on a ranch in Burney, California. She moved to Southern California in 2002 and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Azusa Pacific University in 2006, manga cum laude.

    Kristel started her accounting career with Grant Thornton, LLP out of Irvine, California in 2006. She missed the Northern California life and moved back to Redding in 2007 and joined Nystrom & Company CPA firm. Through various mergers, Nystrom & Company became K·Coe Isom, LLP. During her time at K·Coe, she provided audit and accounting services to multiple non-profit, commercial, and governmental entities. She received her CPA license in 2010. Kristel became a Principal at AGT in 2020, and a Shareholder in 2022. Throughout her public accounting career she has worked on financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations; Uniform Guidance program audits; individual and corporate income tax; and bookkeeping and advisory services. She especially enjoys working with Non Profit organizations!

    Kristel loves living in Palo Cedro, CA where she spends her free time gardening, cooking, building a homestead, and entertaining friends and family. These days most of her time is spent on a ball-field or in a gym where she and her husband cheer on their kids for all their sports activities!

    Favorite part of the job: Her favorite part of the job is training and working alongside all the fun people at AGT! She loves helping her clients meet their personal and professional goals and reducing their stress by taking care of all their accounting headaches.

  • Lynn has over 40 years of experience. Around these parts he is widely regarded as a corporate income tax expert! Corporate, Non-Profit Tax, and Construction are his specialty as he regularly provides income tax planning and consulting services to a wide range of clients, including construction, real estate, and community based charitable organizations. His favorite part of the job is making his client’s lives easier.

    He graduated from the University of Portland in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. While attending college, Lynn enjoyed running the 110-meter high hurdles on the collegiate track team. He was also voted as the most valuable player by his teammates. Once out of college, Lynn had the pleasure of working at major CPA firms in Portland, Oregon, and in the San Francisco Bay Area. Lynn recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Taxation from Golden Gate University School of Taxation.

    Lynn and his family have loved living in Mount Shasta for the last 32 years where they have raised three wonderful children and enjoy the added benefit of both grandmothers nearby.

    Lynn is a Rotarian for the Mount Shasta Rotary. He is also an avid outdoorsman and enjoys backpacking and fishing. He is an Eagle Scout and was the Scoutmaster for five years for the local troop. Lynn has climbed Mount Shasta over 17 times, and on many trips was able to teach the local Boy Scouts mountain climbing skills. In 2003, Lynn was honored with receiving the Meritorious Service Award by the Mount Shasta Chamber of Commerce in recognition of his many years of service to the community.

    Once, in Lynn’s honor, three of the AGT team members surprised him by wearing black leather jackets and sunglasses and took their spot on top of the coffee table. They proceeded to perform and lip-sink to Lynn’s favorite song, “Born to be Wild.” It was quite a performance! Although this occurred many years ago, it is still one of the favorite conversation topics at the office as well as one of Lynn’s fondest memories.

    Fun facts about Lynn: Lynn has climbed Mount Shasta over 17 times!

Managers

 
  • Dorian has been with AGT CPAs and Advisors for over 40 years, spending many of those years as managing partner.  He retired from ownership in 2022, but remains a valuable asset to the firm’s clients.  He specializes in individual, corporate, estate, and trust tax preparation and planning.

    Dorian received his B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and a minor in Economics from Cal State Sacramento in 1975. His career in accounting began in 1977 with Millington & Belt, CPAs, a small firm in Mt. Shasta, as a staff accountant. Shortly after, Dorian accepted the finance officer position for the City of Weed. In late 1980, Hap Goodrich and he joined forces to launch “Aiello & Goodrich, CPAs” with a small office in Weed. The business grew from a two partner, three staff firm to now one of the largest firms in the north state.

    As a native Mt. Shasta resident, Dorian has been very involved in giving back to his community during his career. He was actively involved with the Weed Rotary Club for over 30 years and served as president and district treasurer. He was a member of the Mt. Shasta Union Elementary School Board for 16 years, served as a chairman for the Siskiyou County Grand Jury, also served on the Board of Directors for Scott Valley Bank and has been on the St. Anthony’s Parish Finance Committee for many years. He also served on the board for the Shasta Regional Community Foundation.

    If Dorian is not in the office, you can find him at the tennis court! He is an avid tennis player and also enjoys his Tuesday night poker. He is also very proud to have his daughter, Tessa, with the firm, and is a proud “nonno” of her sons Liam, Davis and Cam.

    Fun Facts about Dorian: He has been to two World Series of Poker events attended in Las Vegas and has completed an estimated 14,160 individual tax returns as a partner at AGT (coincidentally, very close to the elevation at the top of Mt Shasta, 14,179’!)

  • Patty is a CPA, an Enrolled Agent, and a Manager in the Tax and A & A department here at AGT. She had been with Hathaway, Ksenzulak & Lapp for over nine years before the companies merged. Patty has been a CPA since 2014, and prior to becoming a CPA, had 20 years of experience in finance. Patty’s skills and experience are in individual, corporate, and non-profit tax preparation. She is also a member of our audit and attestation team.

    She has a B.S. in Accountancy from the National University and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the California Society of CPAs (CalCPA).

    Patty is a long-time resident of Shasta County. When Patty is not in the office, she enjoys traveling with her husband and son, spending time golfing with friends and family. On rainy days when the sun isn’t shining, you can find Patty curled up indoors with a good book. She also loves arts & crafts.

    Fun facts about Patty: She made a hole in one the first year she started golfing... and hasn’t made one since!

  • Ellyn was born and raised in Salem, Oregon. She came to Redding in 2012 to attend Simpson University. During college she double majored, competed on Simpson’s cross-country team, and was actively involved in the student mission program as well as other areas of student life. In 2016, she graduated with a B.A. in Accounting and Business Administration and has been licensed as a CPA since 2020! Ellyn’s specialty is providing audit and attestation services to non-profit, commercial, and governmental entities. She also provide taxation services for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.

    In her spare time, Ellyn enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking and camping, as well as, reading a good book or playing board games. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends and is also an avid history lover!

    Fun facts about Ellyn: She is a Green Bay Packers fan and has been to a game at Lambeau Field. Her family has owned and operated one of Salem's largest cemeteries for over 70 years and she has competed in over 60 cross country races!

  • Randal was born and raised in Shasta County, where he grew up a honey bee farm. He graduated from Foothill High School in 2005 and received his B.S. in Managerial Economics from the University of California Davis in 2009. After moving back to Redding, Randal worked full-time while pursuing and completing his Master’s Degree in Accountancy from National University.

    Prior to joining AGT, he was an associate accountant with K·Coe Isom, a public accounting firm in Redding for 2 years. While there he provided assurance services to cities, community colleges, K-12 school districts, non-profits, and HUD entities. He also provided services for individual, corporate, and partnership taxation clients. His favorite part of the job is developing their staff’s skills and the camaraderie they form at the office.

    Randal enjoys spending his spare time with his wife, daughter, and their two dogs. He is the treasurer for his church and also sits on the board. He also enjoys playing golf, watching sports, and a good craft beer.

    Fun facts about Randall: Randall’s family has lived in Shasta County for over 100 years. He comes from a family of beekeepers but is allergic to honeybees. He has also been stung over 100 times!

  • Casey joined AGT in September 2024. She received a B.A. in Business and Human Resources Management from Simpson University in 2006. She received a M.S in Counseling from National University in 2011. She received her Personal Financial Planning Certificate from UCLA extension and Certified Financial Planner ® designation in 2021. Casey currently holds a Series 66 Finra License and an insurance license. She has spent the past 12 years in wealth management and specializes in business strategy, business development, and holistic planning for complex clients. Serving as an expert in financial planning for small business and has extensive experience working with complex equity compensation models.

    Casey is a Mt. Shasta native. She has one adult daughter, Kristen. She lives with her significant other Andy and their two dogs Walter and Dee. Casey is an avid lover of the outdoors, her favorite activities include, running, hiking, cycling, and cross-country skiing. She is currently the President of the Board of Directors, Mt. Shasta Chamber of Commerce and has served on the board for the past 7 years. While also serving as a CFP ® Board mentor to CFP ® candidates. She is a professor for UC Berkeley Extension in their Personal Financial Planning and CFP ® preparation program.

    Fun Facts about Casey:

    She recently qualified for and ran the Boston Marathon.

  • Tiffany was born and raised in Scott Valley and that is where she currently resides with her wonderful husband, Frank, and their 3 children. Tiffany joined the AGT team in the fall of 2017 and works remotely from her home office serving her clients in the Scott Valley area. Her heart lies in the agricultural industry, and with assisting local farmers and ranchers. She specializes in tax planning, tax preparation, and consulting at the individual, partnership, and corporate levels. Evaluating and advising on business entity choice, strategic planning, and restructuring when needed. She enjoys growing with her clients and having the ability to be their resource in their times of need. Tiffany understands the importance of having a close relationship with her clients and knows how powerful the sharing of knowledge can be, as well as how crucial timely service really is.

    Prior to AGT, Tiffany attended Shasta College after high school, then transferred to CSU, Chico. In 2006, she graduated with her B.S. in Business with an option in accounting. During her 8 years residing in the city of Chico, she worked for a large regional CPA firm (formerly known as Matson & Isom), from 2007-2014. There she gained much audit experience, and at the same time acquired a wide array of experience in tax, accounting, and financial reporting. She traveled and worked across various industries during her professional career there, including governmental, educational, hospitals, agricultural, and other for-profits. Tiffany acquired her CPA license in 2010. And then in 2012, she transitioned from their Chico office to being one of Matson & Isom’s first remote workers. She had moved back to her hometown, Etna, following the birth of her daughter and Tiffany continued to work for Matson & Isom remotely from home until 2014, when the firm merged with another. She then spent a couple of years working along with a local CPA firm in Yreka, CA. From there, her local business relationships began to develop, and even follow her when she met and married her AGT family.

    Tiffany is happy to be utilizing her talents with the people of her native county and proud to support the hard-working individuals that sustain our beautiful area and make our local community thrive!

    Outside of work, Tiffany enjoys homeschooling and raising the children with her husband, and finds pleasure simply being outdoors with her family. Her favorite things include camping in the mountains, riding their horses, tending to cattle, gardening, reading books about the old days, and spending time with their large extended family and friends.

    Fun facts about Tiffany: She snores louder than anyone else in the house. She is half Greek despite the blonde hair and blue eyes. She learned how to play piano as a young child, on her own, via handwritten lessons mailed from her far-away aunt. She survived Hurricane Hugo at the age of 9 (Virgin Islands), and now understandably has a fear of high winds and storms!

  • Karina is our Senior Tax Manager and has over 35 years of CPA firm experience. Before merging with AGT, Karina had been with Hathaway, Ksenzulak & Lapp, LLP for 25 of those years. She specializes in individual, corporate, estate, and trust tax preparation and planning. Additionally, she has extensive experience in financial statement preparation and tax returns for the construction industry.

    Karina received her B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from California State University, Chico. After completing her education, she returned to her hometown of Redding, California to start her career.

    Community involvement has played an important part in Karina’s life. She just completed 20+ service as the treasurer of the Shasta Library Foundation. She currently serves on the boards of North State Shasta Odyssey of the Mind and Member’s 1st Credit Union. Karina has also volunteered with the Igo Ono Volunteer Fire Company, and continues to assist them to this day.

    When Karina is not in the office, you can find her in the beautiful outdoors backpacking, hiking, running, skiing, or improving the acreage that she and her husband own. She also enjoys Kung Fu, gardening, woodcutting, and enjoying all the north state has to offer in the outdoors with her family.

    Fun facts about Karina: Karina has been training in Kung Fu San Soo with PhD Martial Arts for nearly ten years.

  • Jill is a Manager in Client Accounting Services at AGT. She has lived and worked in Northern California her entire life. After graduating high school, and attending Shasta College, she started working full time for the State of California in Human Resources, Accounting, and Labor Relations. After 18 years she decided to take her Accounting and Payroll experience to the private sector and into Public Accounting. Jill has over 24 years of accounting, bookkeeping, and business administration experience as well as 15 years of experience in payroll, benefits, and human resources. Combined she has 17 years of supervision over 15+ employees in 4 departments for the State of California. For 10 years she has been an Advocate for California Labor Relations as well! Jill is also a Board Member and Co-Founder of Northern California Cancer Advocates.

    Jill’s favorite part of her job is teaching small business owners how to navigate their accounting to understand how their business runs.

    While raising two children, her passion is helping small business owners achieve their dreams by assisting them with payroll and bookkeeping, so they can focus on their trade.

    When not at work she enjoys attending her children’s sports and activities, traveling with her husband & children, reading, and running the beautiful trails in the mountains and parks around Redding, CA. You can always find her poolside with a book in her backyard or one of her many favorite warm travel destinations.

    Fun facts about Jill: Jill met her husband in high school at 15 and we have been together ever since. I love to cook and my favorite thing to eat is anything that swims whether it is cooked or raw!

  • Lindsey joined AGT in 2014. She attended California State University Sacramento where she received a B.S. in Business with dual concentrations in Management and Entrepreneurship. After joining AGT, she attended Southern Oregon University where she received her Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting. Lindsey’s accounting and tax knowledge includes not-for-profits, corporations, and individuals.

    After growing up in Redding, Lindsey moved to Mount Shasta when she married her husband, Kevin. Together they have two beautiful children and one jealous Labrador. She enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, cooking, baking (she’s a chocoholic), and trash TV! Lindsey currently leads audits and reviews in the NPO and for-profit sectors and prepares tax returns for non-profits, business entities, and individuals.

    Fun facts about Lindsey: Lindsey is a part-owner of the Green Bay Packers.

  • Adrian was born and raised in Redding, CA. After graduating high school, he continued his education at Shasta College, earning an AA in mathematics. He then attended Simpson University receiving a BA in Business and Human Resource Management while working in the accounting department of a local non-profit. Adrian joined AGT in 2017 after completing additional accounting coursework through Northwestern University and became a licensed CPA in April 2021. Adrian specializes in audit and attestation services for non-profit entities and special districts. He also provides taxation services for businesses and individuals.

    In his spare time, Adrian enjoys spending time with his wife and son, playing drums & guitar, golfing, and attending concerts/stand-up comedy shows.

    Fun facts about Adrian: Started college at age 15 and has seen over 100 bands live!

Professional Staff

 
  • Brett was born and raised in Redding, CA. After attending Foothill High School he went on to receive his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from UC Santa Barbara.

    With 3 years of experience in tax preparation and estate and trust administration he is proud to be a new addition to the AGT team. Brett is enjoys the variety of work that the field offers , enjoys working in a team atmosphere, and serving his clients well!

    In his free time, Brett coaches high school basketball and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

    Fun fact about Brett: He spent a semester abroad in Thailand!

  • Janine was born and raised in Southern California. In her last year of high school, Janine worked part-time at her grandfather’s tax and accounting office as an administrative assistant. It was during this time that she discovered her love for accounting. After high school, she continued to further her accounting education and has had the privilege of helping several companies in a variety of different industries with their accounting/bookkeeping needs. Janine’s specialty is solving problems when books are out of balance.

    Janine loves the mountains and enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors, when not working. She also enjoys spending time with her husband of over 45 years, 4 children, and 17 grandchildren.

    Fun facts about Janine: She loves camping and hiking in the mountains.

  • Dalton Dutra is an Associate in our Tax Department here at AGT. He will have completed his Bachelor's in Accounting from CSU Chico in December of 2022 and is already becoming a valuable member of the team. He’s transitioning from manual labor jobs and getting into the accounting industry. In the past he’s been in the Army stationed as a mechanic in Hawaii, has helped out with his family’s towing company in Yreka, and is now applying that work ethic to his pursuit of a career in accounting. He’s very good with math and numbers, appreciates learning environments, and is a team player which makes him a great fit here at AGT.

    Other than his professional pursuits, Dalton loves snowboarding, swimming, PC gaming, spending time with family, hiking, and eating good food. He’s a big foodie and will try almost anything.

    Fun facts about Dalton: He grew up with four sisters, he’s got four dogs, and has lived on the East Coast, West Coast, and Hawaii. He’s excited to be buying a house, marrying his future wife Kate, and raising his young son Dexter who’s almost one year old.

  • Paul Gallegos is a staff accountant here at AGT. From Placerville CA, he came to Redding after playing collegiate baseball at William Jessup University and transferring to Simpson University, where he got his Bachelor's in Business, with a concentration in Accounting. He discovered Redding through its summer collegiate baseball team, the Colt 45’s, which inspired his transfer to Simpson. As for his work here at AGT, his father has been an accountant for over 40 years, so you could say that accounting is in his blood!

    Besides his love of numbers and all things accounting, Paul likes to golf, fish, and still play catch with the baseball whenever he gets the chance. One of his favorite parts about AGT is the team atmosphere, and he enjoys achieving crisp, clear communication with his AGT teammates and clients.

    Fun fact about Paul: He’s lived in both Southern California and Texas. He’s also had the opportunity to travel much of the Western US playing baseball, and even pitched on some of the spring training and minor league fields that are shown on TV!

  • Kellie Gama is an Associate in the CAS Department at AGT. Born and raised in Redding, CA, she graduated from Shasta High School and went on to attend Shasta College and California State University, Sacramento, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business with concentrations in Marketing and Business Education.

    Before joining AGT, Kellie spent 17 years as a Bookkeeper for a corporation that owned multiple national food chain franchises. She also has experience in administrative roles across various industries, including construction, paper manufacturing, rehabilitation, employment, and accounting.

    Outside of work, Kellie and her husband enjoy hiking with their dogs around the beautiful North State. They have also spent several years restoring homes, including a 1954 "Dam Shack" in Shasta Lake, CA.

    Fun facts about Kellie: She’s been a foster and adoptive parent, played community softball for over 30 years, and has a pretty solid on-base average!

  • Christine (Leah) Golden grew up in Siskiyou County, then received her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Southern Oregon University in 2019. She joined KDP, CPA’s in Medford Oregon, and gained a wide array of accounting and tax experience during her time there. She has worked in income tax in many industries and income levels, and gained deep experience in returns for S-corps, individuals, and partnerships. She also prepared trust returns, estates and not-for-profit returns, and has also performed compilations and in-depth accounting. Looking to remain in Siskiyou and work local to her county, she joined AGT in 2024, and is excited to join the team and its strong vision and dedication to clients. She has received CPA licensure through Oregon and California.

    In her free time, Christine loves spending time with her husband and three kids, sharing the homeschool teacher role with Granddad, and working in the garden or pasture with the goats. She also loves researching health and nutrition.

  • Mirna was born in El Salvador and moved to California with her parents at a young age. She came to Redding to attend Simpson University. She was actively involved with Residence Life, and WorldSERVE, a student missions program. In 2017, she double majored and graduated with a B.A. in Accounting and Business Administration. Mirna’s favorite part of the job is that there is always something new to learn. She also loves meeting people from different industries and working as a team with my awesome co-workers.

    Prior to joining AGT in late 2018, she worked in her parent’s small business in the Bay Area. Mirna is excited to be part of the AGT team and looks forward to growing in her accounting career.

    Mirna enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as they play games and have BBQ’s. She enjoys traveling, reading and learning. When she isn’t BBQing or traveling, Mirna can be found acting as a Board Member with Secret Witness of Shasta County.

    Fun facts about Mirna: She is fluent in English and Spanish and has traveled to Taiwan, Thailand, and El Salvador. She also loves to cook!

  • Cathy is a Client Accounting Services specialist who makes sure all our clients’ needs are met. She grew up in the Midwest, moved to Orange County, CA in 1991, and relocated to Mount Shasta in 2018. She started with AGT two weeks after moving here!

    She earned an AS in Accounting from IVC after years of starts and stops due to life events. She started her accounting career setting up the books for her brother in 1981. Since then she has worked with an insurance agency, marketing firm, computer peripherals manufacturer and distributor, family office, legal firm, and CPA firms doing all aspects of accounting from payables and receivables to cash management and financial statements. Her favorite part of working at AGT is the passion she has for accounting and working with such an amazing team.

    Cathy has an adult daughter who lives in Texas, a brother in Florida, and three sisters in Illinois with their families.

    Since moving to the area, she loves exploring the Oregon coast. Reading interesting books and walking or hiking the area, especially near water, are activities she enjoys along with pursuing tasty gins and tequilas.

    Fun Fact about Cathy: She has plants that relocated with her and are thriving!

  • Robby Griffith is Rob Griffith’s son and part of the “G” in AGT! He was born and raised in Redding and graduated from Enterprises High School. After High School, Robby went to Sacramento State University and received a Bachelors Degree in Accounting.

    Once he received his degree Robby returned to Redding to join his father at the accounting firm. Robby enjoys working at the firm since there is always something new to learn!

    Robby’s specialty is managing internal controls but in his free time he loves spending time with his wife and daughter, taking his dogs to the park and binge watching realty TV.

    Fun facts about Robby: He has two dogs, a Dalmatian and a Golden Retriever, and loves Disney!

  • Dana graduated from Chico State with a Bachelors's in accounting and has experience as an accountant in the CAS department and the Audit & Tax Department. She specializes in CAS, tax preparation and audit engagements. She loves that every day brings something different.

    When she isn’t working she is camping and spending time with her family.

    Fun facts about Dana: Dana likes photography and kayaking.

  • Cydney moved to the Mount Shasta area in high school with her mom. She attended college in Redding where she received a BS in Accounting, but was thrilled when she was able to move back to Mount Shasta when she joined AGT in 2021.

    Cydney loves learning new things, which is one of her favorite parts of working at AGT, along with meeting new people.

    You can typically find Cydney at home sewing, knitting, gardening, reading or gaming with friends. She spends a lot of time at home, but secretly wishes her home was a Hobbit hole. She is an avid re-watcher of the same handful of TV shows and never gets bored of them.

    Fun facts about Cydney: Cydney owns a worryingly large fabric and yarn stash and would like to know if you think she has a shopping problem and what you think she should make. She is also afraid of clowns.

  • Dee is a Business Accountant who has been with AGT for over 31 years. She was originally hired as a staff accountant and has since become the firm’s QuickBooks guru, as she is proficient in all aspects of the accounting software. She is responsible for software implementation, training and consulting for all of our applicable small business clients. Dee is also fully equipped with an all around accounting background, which includes financial statement preparation, bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and payroll services.

    Dee was born and raised in Castro Valley. With an aunt and uncle who had two daughters her age living in Dunsmuir, Dee would frequent the area for every Christmas and Easter vacation and opening day of trout season. In her off time, Dee’s favorite activities include hunting, gardening, quilting, and reading.

    With so many favorite AGT memories to choose from, Dee could narrow it down to these: Lynn splitting his pants while he was demonstrating how to hurdle chairs in the conference room, climbing Black Butte with the team during a slight hurricane, telling Dorian he had an unexpected client on April 1st at 4:45pm and then seeing his expression when he realized it was an April fools joke, watching Kim decapitate her piñata at her anniversary party, the lake Siskiyou patio boat trip and finally, serenading Lynn with AGT’s version of his favorite song, “Born to be Wild.”

    Fun Fact About Dee: She has been drawn 4 times for a California Elk Tag and has completed over 50 quilts for family & friends!

  • Lauren received her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Simpson University before coming to work for AGT as a staff accountant. Prior to this she spent three years in the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable departments at a local business and one year of experience working for a local CPA. Lauren specializes in tax preparation, audit engagement, and math checks.

    Lauren loves to give back to her community and does so by making blankets every year for a nonprofit that delivers care packages to the families of children in the hospital with congenital heart defects.

    Lauren enjoys snowboarding, kayaking, mountain biking, sewing, baking, and reading fantasy fiction novels.

    Fun facts about Lauren: Her youngest child has never seen her with natural hair color. She has learned two new sports, snowboarding and mountain biking, in the last three years and she reads at least twenty new books every year!

  • As an Enrolled Agent, Marilyn specializes in individual, partnership, corporate, and non-profit tax preparation. Her career began as a bookkeeper for a trucking firm in Manteca, CA where accounting functions were learned on the job, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and preparation of payroll, sales, and fuel tax returns. In 1991, Marilyn joined a Modesto accounting firm as their internal bookkeeper, in addition to servicing one of their largest national clients. In 1995, she sat for the Special Enrollment Exam administered by the IRS, earning her designation as an Enrolled Agent and allowing her to practice tax before the IRS. This experience encouraged her to go back to school to obtain her degree. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2006 from California State University, Stanislaus, with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, concentration in Accounting. Remembering how much she enjoyed school, she completed her Masters of Business Administration from Southern Oregon University in 2009.

    Marilyn is a Siskiyou County native, graduating from Mt. Shasta schools as a classmate of Dorian Aiello. She lived in central California until her husband, Michael, retired from teaching in 2006. Marilyn has two children, Mason and Melanie, and one grandson, Nathan. She loves to read and quilt in her spare time.

    Favorite part of the job: Marilyn loves helping people reach their financial goals.

  • Mariah graduated from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC in 2021. After enjoying some work experience as a bookkeeper, Mariah started working at AGT as a Staff Accountant where she works in tax and audit.

    Mariah enjoys spending time with her family and friends and being involved in her church where she volunteers as a youth leader. Her hobbies include her Martin D-18 (guitar), her Brittany’s (dogs), and playing Spikeball.

    Fun fact about Mariah: Mariah’s favorite place that she has visited is Israel!

  • Zach MacKay's journey in the world of finance began at a community college in Alabama, where he laid the foundations of his accounting skills. Eager to take his education to the next level, he transferred to the University of Chico in sunny California. With a thirst for real-world experience, Zach worked diligently as an accounting clerk for two years, honing his expertise and contributing to the financial well-being of his employers.

    Beyond the world of numbers, Zach served his country in the Army. This commitment to service and discipline has undoubtedly shaped his professional approach.

    With a focus on bookkeeping and advising, Zach's expertise is both practical and insightful. His dedication to maintaining financial records and providing valuable guidance to clients is a testament to his commitment to the field.

    Beyond the office, you can find Zach indulging in his passions for golf and hiking. Whether navigating the rolling greens of a golf course or trekking through the rugged terrain of nature, Zach finds solace and rejuvenation in the outdoors.

    For Zach, the true delight of his work lies in the camaraderie he shares with his coworkers and the opportunity to engage with new clients. Building relationships and helping others navigate the complexities of finance is what drives him every day.

    Fun Fact About Zach: When Zach is not balancing financial statements or exploring the great outdoors, he's spending quality time with his beloved Australian Shepherd, Ollie.

Administrative Staff

 
  • Morgan first started bookkeeping and using QuickBooks when she became the business manager for a local collision center. She attended CSU in Chico and graduated with a B.S. in Small Business Entrepreneurship and Management.

    Not too long after finishing college, she began a family and was a stay-at-home mom for over nine years! After some big life changes, she began working at a big truck repair shop answering phones and writing estimates. She worked there for almost a year before being hired with AGT as a scanner during tax season. Lucky for Morgan, it was a great fit and they offer her a permanent position!

    Morgan is a huge fan of organization and loves to find ways to make things more efficient and organized. She even describes her hobbies as organizing everything! She also enjoys reading, crocheting, cooking and doing her nails while watching murder mysteries. 

    Fun facts about Morgan: She is the proud owner of an all-original 1969 Chevelle Malibu that she got when she was just 16 years old! Luckily it still works and her kids love to ride around in it!

  • Heidi is our Administration Assistant they keeps tabs on all things AGT. She was born in Monterey County and moved to Weed with her parents and siblings in 1993. She worked for 12 years as a criminal clerk with the county court, which included a lot of customer service, reports, payments, scheduling and recording minutes in the court room which has prepared me for my training here at AGT. Heidi joined the AGT team in October of 2018 as an Administrative Assistant. Customer service and all the ins and out of tax return assembly is her specialty.

    Heidi loves Kayaking, hiking, fishing, camping, gardening, anything outdoors! Mostly she enjoys spending time with her two sons Caidin and Dylin and her boyfriend Eric whose favorite pastime is fishing!

    Heidi enjoys being outside in the Spring and Summer working in her yard and vegetable garden. She and her family love to camp at Medicine Lake, where they can enjoy the outdoors with family and friends

    Fun facts about Heidi: Heidi decorated cakes professionally for about 8 years but now just makes her kids a special birthday cake of their choice each year. She really enjoys helping them pick out their design and seeing their faces when it’s all done!

  • Mallory McKune is our Administrative Assistant, the face of AGT, the first and last person our clients see when coming into the office. She was raised in Sacramento on a 20-acre farm. She moved to Redding in 1997 and has resided here ever since. Before joining AGT, Mallory worked in grocery and retail merchandising for over 23 years. She is looking forward to many years growing within the Company.

    In her spare time, Mallory enjoys the outdoors, mostly hiking and kayaking. She has a cabin near Lassen National Park and enjoys watching the wildlife in her front yard. (fox, deer, bears etc…) She also loves baking, gardening and traveling. She tries to travel 3 times a year to places on her bucket list.

    Fun facts about Mallory: She has been hiking in 12 National Parks! She also used to have a raccoon as a pet.

  • Gabriela is a Mt. Shasta native and graduated from Mt. Shasta high school in 1999. She then went to College of the Siskiyous, where she graduated with two Associates of Science degrees. She also has received her accounting certificate.

    Gabriela has over 20 years of customer service experience and almost 10 years of managerial experience. She began her career in finance as a teller at Bank of America until the office closed in 2013. She then began as a staff accountant for the local newspaper, as well as, some sister newspapers in California including the Mt. Shasta Herald, Weed Press, Dunsmuir News, Siskiyou Daily News, Taft Midway Driller and the Ridgecrest Daily Independent. Gabriela also held the position as business office clerk at the paper where she was a jack of all trades and stepped in anywhere she was needed.

    Gabriela is a people person with excellent communication skills. She is the first point of contact when clients enter the office and the first person to answer the phone when you call. Her great communication skills and empathetic heart make her fantastic at her job.

    She loves to read books and prefers a real hardback over the modern Kindle. She believes feeling the book in her hands is half the experience and prefers not to look at another screen after work.

    Fun fact about Gabriela: Gabriela was born in southern California but moved to the Mt. Shasta area before she even turned one year old. Her parents went on vacation to Mt. Shasta and fell in love with the beauty and knew it would be a great place to live and raise a family. She has never moved out of the area for the same reason. Gabriela has even had some of the same teachers that her son has had in school! Her favorite holiday is Halloween and she loves watching scary movies with her family.

  • Sara is our Firm Administrator who helps with day to day tasks at AGT. Sara is a Siskiyou County native and was born and raised in Mt. Shasta. She attended Mt. Shasta High School and is technically from the Class of 2005. However, she graduated early so, if you ask her she might just say she’s from the Class of 2004 ½.

    Her career in finances began when she started working for Scott Valley Bank in 2007. Though she started working as a teller, Sara quickly began training as the back-up New Accounts Representative. In 2009, she took the position of New Accounts, which she held for three years before being offered an exciting opportunity with Aiello, Goodrich & Teuscher.

    Sara’s favorite aspect of her job is being able to assist our clients with the stress of dealing with the IRS and state tax agencies. As you can imagine, working with the various tax agencies can be overwhelming and daunting for people. Being able to help them and hear the relief in their voice when another tax season is over is what we're here for.

    Fun facts about Sara: Sara completes in Cowboy Action Shooting and holds titles for being the State Champion, Regional Champion, National Champion, and is a two time Single Action Shooting Society World Champion.
