Duties and Responsibilities

Accounting para-professional with experience in handling all phases of accounting through financial statement for multiple clients.

In this position, you will:

• Regularly reconcile and review client’s accounting records and be able to quickly identify and correct any adjustments needed

• Maintain accounting records for clients in multiple industries on a regular basis i.e.: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, post journals – cash receipts, cash disbursed, general journal entries, reconcile bank statements

• Complete sales tax returns and payments (monthly, quarterly, annual) online

• Complete annual Business Property Statements for clients

• Analyze and adjust client’s trial balance at year-end as needed for income tax preparation

• Complete Informational forms 1099-Misc and 1099-NEC for clients.

• Record and reconcile payroll to outside service provider reports

Minimum Qualifications

• Proficiency in QuickBooks

• Ability to analyze a client’s general ledger for accuracy and adjust as necessary

• 5+ years previous experience at a CPA firm or as external accountant for many different types of entities a plus

• Excellent organizational skills

Full-time $30.00 - 45.00 per hour
